Mono, we won't want to drop you as you have a lot to contribute but just not enough time, if we did that I'd have to drop myself from the team. Prioritize whatever you need to do at school before the game, this project is meant to be a fun learning experience more than anything.

Exactly Armed. Monowix we will never drop you from this Team unless you ask to be dropped or well pull something like Artix did. We've been worried about you and you don't know how happy I know we are to hear that your ok!! (Not counting being sick and having too much school work >_< BUT we are very glad you hear your alive and kicking!! )
I'm planning on getting us our own Forum for free for a small time so that we can work more easily and not worry about spoilers etc etc. But I wanna have a Team Name for the site before I make it XD so yeah we're voting on it, feel free to cast your vote Monowix!!
And as far as work just get what you can when you can ok you still have another 2 months to make some work! I can't wait to see what you've made when you have some time!! ^o^
As far as the Team, it is for fun. We're doing it in a semi-professional way because I want this Team to go for a long time! We're in our Beta you could say for the Team so it's mostly for fun then anything else so don't sweat it!

Monowix we could never hate you, school especially during its last years is f@king hard. I understand your situation. I'm in a similar one too. 
Unfortunetly guys I'm going to a boarding school*. I will only be able so do some sort of work on the short weekend breaks I get. I recommend you progress with the project without me, the face-sets and character drawings/ torso shots will have to come at the end since I don't want to hold the team back. I think the same for Monowix. You guys should find substitute stuff to add in the game and the custom stuff will come later.
I'm not sure how I'll get the reports done but I'll try doing those every Sunday or something.
*My previous school is overcrowded so I had to move, I found a new school but it's a boarding one. It's O.K I guess. My mom said I need to learn to live with people and be "disciplined". Guess I should have seen it coming after slacking a lot on the holidays.
I go Tuesday. We don't know if you're allowed to go home during the weekends. If not that would seriously suck but I think they should since I don't live to far off.

Alick
Alick: The protagonist of the game. As a character, Alick is very static. His most definitive trait is his overwhelming sense of justice and outrage at whatever he percives as a threat, which occasionally causes him to suffer from bouts of foolishness. His motivations are not complicated, he has no serious flaws that eat away at him, and is very simple to understand. This is in contrast with the dynamic personalities of his party members. While a normally friendly and upfront young boy, he becomes surprisingly bloodthristy and terrifying while enraged.
Voice type: Typical young man
Line 1: [dumbfounded] "Oh yeah, that god...Izanoichi, right?"
Line 2: [serious] "Don't lose heart. We'll get through this."
Line 3: [furious] "I'LL CUT YOU IN TWO, YOU PIECE OF SHIT! JOHAAAAAAN!"
Katsune
Katsune: Katsune is a major character and one of Alick's foils. Katsune's character is defined by his stubbornness and almost perpetual hostility to just about everybody who so much as looks at him wrong. His fixated and incredibly restrictive code of honor, along with his high expectations for his associates to follow this code, brings him at odds with several characters. He will defend his honor and the honor of those he cares about at any cost, even if it would be much more convenient to abandon it and follow a more practical solution.
Voice type: Serious, older and rough.
Line 1: [Commanding tone] "Oi! Who goes there!?"
Line 2: "I must protect the shrine at all costs!"
Line 3: [in pain] "O-oi...I can't take much more of this..."
Atsuchi
Atsuchi: A hellhound that is smarter than average, tamed by Kushino and friendly towards humans. Has unbounding loyalty to both Kushino and Alick.
Kushino
Kushino: Kushino is the female lead of the game and one of Alick's many foils. She is a traditional swordswoman with a great faith in higher power. She is generally nice to everyone she meets but will not let up on foes and is very sensitive to cultural faux pas, which Alick often makes.
Voice type: Typical young girl
Line 1: [deadpan] "You're an idiot, Alick. Seriously."
Line 2: "Don't panic, Alick. We've just got to think this through."
Line 3: [sobbing] "I...I don't know if w-we can do this..."
Yukari
Yukari: A professional Kunoichi tasked with the protection of Edo and its people. Takes her job very seriously and frequently hangs out with Yukiko.
Voice type: Serious older woman
Line 1: "Yukiko, focus!"
Line 2: "Please tell me you're joking. Please."
Line 3: [angry] "You're going to let this guy join us!? Are you joking!? He SHOT me!"
Yukiko
Yukiko: A slightly less professional Kunoichi that prefers to play around and get Yukari to relax once in a while. Very hyperactive and headstrong.
Voice type: Hyperactive young girl
Line 1: [Defensive] "I do too practice! Alllll the time!"
Line 2: "You're all waaay too serious! Lighten up already!"
Line 3: [upset and angry] "There's no way I'll ever forgive this guy! Yukari could have died because of him!"
Mizuiki
Mizuiki: A gentle water spirit that resides in a cave, she acts a protector of the shrine that is kept there. She is very sensitive to heavenly and spiritual matters and does the best she can to heal the injured.
Voice type: Gentle young girl
Line 1: [in panic and trying to be calm] "Please don't hurt us...why has evil driven you here?"
Line 2: "I can sense a higher power. It's speaking to us."
Line 3: [angry] "How could you willingly hurt a living thing this way!?"
Manus
Manus: A tough scotsman who works as a soldier for hire. He works under Johann in the English Expedition Army and lives to fight strong opponents. Incredibly pragmatic, he is willing to go to extremes to reach his own goals. To those who earn his respect, however, he is an invaluable ally.
Voice type: Gruff man, scottish accent
Line 1: [laughing] "Now this is where it gets fun!"
Line 2: "Don't expect me to do all of yer dirty work. You've got to do some of it yerself!"
Line 3: "What, a guy can't have a change of interests? Come on lad, you know where I'm coming from!"
Chidori
Chidori: A harpy that distrusts humans, she live in the mountains in a Shrine. She detests humans and will not speak to them usually. She keeps mostly to her self but will usually speak freely with those who are not human.
Voice type: Shrill but not harsh, somewhat bird like
Line 1: "Wretched humans, leave this place."
Line 2: [angry] "Stupid, selfish, evil humans! I'll claw your faces out!"
Line 3: [Snapping back at Alick] "I don't trust you. It's because your human that I don't trust you! You saved my life and that is why I travel with you. Nothing else."
Lynn
Lynn: A young witch living by herself, she is outcasted from society due to the dark arts she practices. She has a kind heart, but prefers to keep to herself due to her lack of knowledge on society.
Voice type: Quiet and subdued
Line 1: [frightened] "Wh-what are you going to do?"
Line 2: [matter-of-fact] "I'm just a witch. You don't pay any mind to me."
Line 3: "...Th...Thank you, Alick..."
Johann
Johann: Johann is a religious official, and the main antagonist. A calm and efficient English man, he has been tasked with leading a task force to Japan for a mission that could decide the fate of both countries. Used to exclusively use holy and fire magic, but has grown adept at dark magic after recieving it. He is capable of executing atrocities as deemed neccessary, but sincerely adheres to his faith.
Voice type: Calm, cold and matter of factly.
Line 1: "Move aside."
Line 2: [unamused] ..."In the Lord, put your trust." Or do you not trust the Lord?
Line 3: [indignant] "If I kill this girl I'll have to kill the both of us as well, Frederick."
Frederick
Frederick: One of the most respected and powerful templers in the Church's service, he is a good friend of Johann and acts as second in command of the English Expedition Army. Prior to his search for magical energies and return to England, his giant armor shined brilliantly, but now it is bleached completely black with his acquisition of powerful dark magic, and he has also become much more brutal.
Voice type: Deep, booming. Experienced warrior.
Line 1: "In the name of the Cardinal, I sentence you to death!"
Line 2: "I am the greatest templer of my time. You have absolutely no right to be cocky, boy."
Line 3: "Johann, you're procrastinating! Kill this witch at once! I can feel the taint of her dark magic to my very core!"
Guardians
Shisha
Shisha, The Messenger: The first guardian. He brings messages to and from other deities, and occasionally humans, and looks over Izanagi's shrine in the Capital. All messages delivered by him is considered to be the truth. He is quick to action and faithful to his duties. However, he sleeps deeply in Izanagi's shrine when not delivering messages.
Voice type: Snake-like, many hissing sounds
Line 1: [Paniced] "Izanagi's power...where is it!?"
Line 2: [angry] "Humans...return what you have stolen at once!"
Line 3: [while injered] "I must inform the others...they must know of the evil plot that has unfurled!"
Saibanchou
Saibanchou, The Judge: A hulking guardian, Saibanchou guards the shrine of Daikoku with a massive hammer. His other duties are judging the quality of the crops grown in the nearby village, and faithful metalworkers will be bestowed metal ore of the highest quality in their houses in the dead of night. Saibanchou is unforgiving to those who succumb to excessive greed, as greed ruins the quality of all things. He judges all things and sticks to his verdict no matter what.
Voice type: Large creature with a deep echo-like voice
Line 1: "I am Saibanchou. It is I who judges everything in this forest."
Line 2: [frustrated] "I will crush you!"
Line 3: [defeated] "How humiliating...the guilty walk free..."
Fukachi
Fukachi, The Unknown: Residing underneath the ground, Fukachi serves Okuninushi and has protected his shrine for many years. He possesses knowledge of many medicines and land keeping, but also knows the secrets of spiritual and magical nature. An enigmatic and cruel spirit, he preys on the fear of the unknown that all humans have, and finds their introspective tendencies amusing. Any who seek his shrine will be turned back by the atmosphere of pure terror that he exudes before even coming close.
Voice type: Ominous, a creepy, slithering tone
Line 1: [jovial] "Uhehehehe, I see humans have come to my den! Fukachi descends upon you."
Line 2: [mocking] "Are you afraid? Is my image unsettling to you?"
Line 3: [musingly] "Uhehehe...humans are so adorably misguided."
Michihiki
Michihiki, The Flowing: A spirit of water that serves Benzaiten in the watery cave where her shrine lies, Michihiki represents everything that flows, like her patron goddess. She enriches the water that flows into the cave and outside, and is a master of speaking eloquently. She views water as essential to life and is willing to do anything to protect her shrine.
Voice type: Older woman
Line 1: "I am Michihiki, and you do not need to introduce yourselves. Shisha has told me of you evil people."
Line 2: "Let them go! They have no part of this!"
Line 3: [confuzed] "Why...Why would you do such a thing? What reason could there be!?"
Hakushiki
Hakushiki, The Sage: Hakushiki serves the air goddess Kaminari, watching the mountaintop shrine with impunity. Hakushiki can accurately predict weather and has knowledge over many things. He is also arrogant, speaks in rhyme, and asks philosophical questions that can't be answered by mortal men.
Voice type: Arrogant old man
Line 1: "Here you are, detestable fiend. Now you have come, I must intervene!"
Line 2: "Many times I've heard your evil deeds. So here I am, with words you should heed."
Line 3: "Shisha, that imbecile, he has lead me to haste. And I am deeply sorry, that he has made your name disgraced."
Shiawase
Shiawase, The Fortune: Serving under the goddess of fortune and victory, Kichohu, Shiawase primarily blesses believers with luck in all things. Normally patient and methodical, she encourages fast action when victory is imminent.
Voice type: High class woman
Line 1: "Who goes there?"
Line 2: [possesed] "Yes...destroy...at once...Cardinal."
Line 3: [defeated] "I'm...I'm sorry...I couldn't protect anything..."
Fubuki
Fubuki, The Storm: A snow spirit that serves under Takaokami, she normally hides inside the shrine at all times due to weather outside being too warm. In times where the shrine and the people living near it is in imminent danger, however, Takaokami summons a snowstorm that both impedes the progress of intruders and allows Fubuki to materalize in the mortal world. She punishes all who wish the shrine harm without mercy.
Voice type: Stoic, cold girl
Line 1: "I'm am glad you have made it! But we must move quickly, before Johann breaks though as well."
Line 2: "The safety of the shrine comes before the needs of the humans!"
Line 3: "That man...he must be stopped..."
Bakuhatsu
Bakuhatsu, The Eruption: A creature that serves the fire god Kagutsuchi, he embodies the raw power of volcanic eruptions. He has no other duties than to maintain the volcano he resides in and crush Kagutsuchi's enemies, a duty he fulfills without restraint or reason.
Voice type: Bold and Stiff
Line 1: [Gravely injured] "Johann came...and he took the last of the power... What will you do now....pitiful humans?"
Line 2: [agnered] "Don't heal me!! I am a Guardian of War!!.....It is honorable that I die..and if I don't then...Kagutsuchi hasn't seen it fit that I should die here."

Ok! As far as the Copyright goes we are OK for now. Look here to read up on what I mean:

All this means is that we are copyrighted, I will have it on the various Places our Team Name is at BUT we don't have any public records that we are Trinity Void. For now this wont matter. But when it comes to the time we need to buy a copyright it's looking to be about $145 or more, but don't worry about that now we have a free copyright and so we're good. Anyone takes our name or stuff and claims it as their own we'll still be ok, I'll tell you first though how to make sure we will cause I can't do it alone.
1. ALWAYS put the date including DD/MM/YYYY "© September 16, 2010 Trinity Void" and then if you want at the bottom "©2010 Trinity Void Artwork/Script/Music/ETC Created by ________" or just "©2010 Trinity Void". My suggestion is the last one since it's easier and cleaner.
2. If it's a piece of music or a piece of artwork you don't have to have it on the picture (Though it can be better for pictures) just make sure that when you place it somewhere you have a copyright under where it was placed. Do put the Copyright with the Year the Team was created but you put the year the picture or music or Voice Over or what ever it is in the post of where you posted it right under the picture. Signatures do not work in this case.
3. number 2 actually goes for anything created for the Team, If it's for yourself I advise you to also do a copyright but just for yourself. Since we're taking steps to being a Team we all might have our work get more looks. Having any piece of work stole is crappy and something i know none of us want to have happen. So I advise you to copyright your own stuff that you post from here on out, just to be safe.
4. Artwork copyrights, I know might not be a good thing to have in a picture but it's better. The best thing to do it put it in very small text that is readable and have it in very light grey, not too light but not too dark either. Basically it's a thing you will find only if your looking for it.
5. This is the same as 2 but for the Writers. At the Top or bottom of every single page in about 11 to 10 Font as a header or footer there must be a Copyright there for each page. (This is most easily done o OpenOffice or Word.) the reason is just like the others. Also rule 3 applies as well!! Be sure that if it's your original work to put a copyright, but only if it's 100% original and yours!
6. Programmers, anything you make for the Team must also have a copy right, only thing is for you it either needs to be in the Title of the game so before they open it it should be something like this: "Honor Before War ©2010 Trinity Void" the artists will take care of the Trademarks and Copyrights that will be inside the game. Also if it can be put in the description of the Game then the Copyright needs to be there instead of the Game Title.
That's about it! If you have any questions on it let me know!!
Now, onto the logo! Srigsby you were working on this before and I was thinking it along side with Emanzi, doing something with the TYV would be very good! Um, this is open to the artist department though so, Emanzi, they make the artwork, more the 5 concepts and come back to me in about 2 weeks if you can with 5 concept artwork pieces from which we'll chose from ok! Keep in mind it needs to be clean simple and not too big. Basically something that is easy to place somewhere
Um, their just my suggestion (I'm talking about the TYV done in a upside down triangle formation) I've tried to attach a small drawing of a basic idea of what I've been thinking of that we could do. I'm having problems attaching it though so I put it on my photobucket! Still I would like to see this expanded on! But only if you guys like it then use it! if you don't don't worry about it! As long as we get a good logo hat works I'm happy!

Sorry guys, I haven't had any time to work on stuff for the game. I've been so busy. I get at least 2 hours of homework a night. I have some free time over the weekend, so I'll try to do some game stuff. I'll finish the latest title screen concept then put it aside for the logo concepts. I'm trying as hard as I can to work on stuff but like I said, I've been pretty busy.

Hi guys, checking up. Sorry that I couldn't get the reports done Sunday some family stuff came up. I also haven't hade enough solid time to get one character ready and schools demanding as a Bi@$% so... On the plus side good to know the names free for copyright and sounds really cool to. I like the first logo rei, looks like a good start for a concept.
I also dropped Art class, I know but it would divert me from the task at hand and force me to go into other factors just to make it sutable for the examiners to make a long story short it would cut out my freedom of just drawing what I think is nessesary and its too demanding. So I draw on weekends now and pray I dont get a bunch of visitors ( family stuff ) like usual.
I faked sick today so I could get something done, also I need a break from school stress. My mum said if I'm NOT sick 4real its bording 
. So I made myself sick by eating a bunch of boogers 
( helped me puke ), old serial and got mild typhoid but it's O.K, I'll be fine in a few days. Sucks cause the medicine I get makes me sleepy so I still cant draw or work on anything... I know, somehow I wish I just went to school and did the daily grind for another long week.

Ok, been thinking, and I decided.
Since everyone on this team is in school we're going to do this a little differently, in a why I think you all will like and will help you all relax a lot more.
What I've been doing for the Composer Division is a mandatory 6 songs a month. It's been working out ok so far, so I'm now just going to make it mandatory of all Divisions from now on! What I mean is is that each month each Division has to turn in completed accepted pieces of what they were given to work on, like 6 songs a month! Um, I don't know the production rate of each Division but I think what I've set up below should work! Since it seems we still getting the hang of things and getting to what works well this may change as well but we're going to try it first!
Writing Division: 4 completed Pages of Script per month
Artists Division: 4 completed pieces of Artwork a Month
Composer Division: 6 completed songs a month
since the other Divisions don't have work/can't work yet (because of the game not being far along yet) their deadlines will be formed later, for now those this will be the new Deadline. If these are too easy/hard just let me know and we'll adjust again ok! But this should hopefully give you all more time for school and less stress. We got as long as need be guys, cause if it goes my way We'll be together for quite a few years

probably for the Artist Division I would like 4 each, but that's just the total the Art Division needs to make. But right now what it should be seen as is something that can go up or down. I want to know how many pieces of Art work has been completed total, this was we can get it to a comfortable amount and one that is higher then 4 but wont be a heavy work load on anyone
Also everyone keep in mind we need to continue the work we have, I'm not going to let this team dissolve into nothingness, but at the same time there's no rush (though I've felt the want to do so at the start >_<) but this about it, I plan for us to work together for year from now and keep making new projects! In the long run we have plenty of time to continue this work and build on what skills we have right now. Most or all of us are in school, and I understand having to juggle between work and school >_< but we can do it! We've done it so far and we'll keep it up! We've been doing this since July, we've worked together for only 3 months and we still have a long time together Keep fired up and keep working and don't forget to take breaks! I am a firm believe in not having stress, and the last thing I wanna is that to my Team, so just work when you can requirements are low and I know you all can do it
Also Reports are due in a day or two so I expect one from each Division by the first of October! take your time on them though, if you need more time let me know! Hope to hear from you all soon!! ^o^

I don't have the current demo of the game and more importantly the character descriptions. So if I could get the descriptions soon I'll get on it right away.
The demo would also bee convenient, I have X.P so I can see how it would look in the game first hand. ( wont give it out to anyone outside the team or tamper with it and re-distribute it ). I'll post screen shots of how they look in game if I get it otherwise I can let you guys handle that.
I think that's all I need for now. Hope you guys ( Art team ) are also ready if not you can ask me or rei for any help e.t.c

Hey, found time to post! Haha. Well, I haven't made any progress with title or TV concepts. But! Yes, there is a but! I may have found a new music composer. He's still figuring out what program suits him (that he can get his hands on) so I'll talk to rei_chan about it. In the mean time, I will work on the concepts whenever I can. Tomorrow is my last day of tennis so maybe I'll have more time to do stuff.

Nice, teams grown well.
I'm nearly done with mid term exams on Monday. Apart from that I got a nice drawing book and a quality inking pen so I should go into character development after Monday, already made a personal time table so as to balance school studying and hobbies ( drawing and rpg making. ).
I think its best I make a detailed report for the end of the month starting now ( end of this month ) but will update here during the month. Its also advised you guys update here also so at the end of the month it will be alot easier to make the report.
Apart from that whats up team!

I think I am going out of the team, I got TOO MUCH homework and next week I am enterin American Football and its all the week from 7 to 9 pm so I cant connect all week and also i got to train on saturday and sundays i have the games and maybe i go to the gym sundays.

So its the end of the month and I'll say we might not have some solid work but it looks like we got some good idea's coming along.
I'll be sure to produce some stuff this month, sorry about that, but I had mid terms. So far I should be free apart from the usual school stuff but thats enough to make at least 5 facesets. I'll try making character sheets with the faces, full body battler and an alternative battler. I'm saying maybe one week for each to finalize and everything.
Sure Monowix, I'll help with anything you need. Good to see you but then again its unfortunate you feel like you should leave the team. Don't know where we can find a good spriter like you but most of all we'll miss you. Anyway I think if you really feel its getting in the way then its your choice. Alternatively you can maybe help out once in a while no need to stress you out. Know any good sites where I can learn to sprite? I can try making it more easy for you so your not overwhelmed.
The report is just as above, If you ( rei ) want me to send it in a PM like last time its O.K but I think that should cover it.

Ok! Sorry for the delay! Just been busy. Ok, so tonight, I'm going to try and sketch some team name concepts. I'm going to make two different concepts. One will spell out the full team name. So that can be like our official stamp and whatnot. The other concept will be an abbriviated symbol or something for other, smaller means. I'll work on the smaller ones first for they're easier. That way, I can work out some background symbol to focus on and develop for the full logo.
Also, sorry that you can't stay on the team monowix. We will all miss you.

Ok, so the past couple days, I haven't been as busy, so I worked on some of the team name logo concepts. Now I have an anouncement about said logos.
There will be two different logos. The first will spell out the full team name with a possible insignia in the background or next to the name, or even interwoven into the text. This one will be dubbed "logo". The other one will either have the "TYV/TV" abbreviation with an insignia or just the insignia. This will be dubbed "official seal or stamp," or just "stamp/seal" for short.
However there is a dilemma; the insignia. I cannot decide whether or not to include one (for those who don't know what an insignia is, it's just a symbol or icon that's copyrighted to a name or something). Furthermore, I cannot decide what to make of the insignia. I really think we should use one, especially in the stamp. Here are some ideas for the insignia.
1) Some sort of vortex similar to the original team name concept I made a long time ago. It doesn't necessarily have to be in that elongated form. It can be some sort of round or circular vortex, or even some other form. It doesn't matter, just as long as it represents a vortex.
2) This one is difficult to explain. Basically, it's a ribbon effect that can surround the center piece of the insignia. It's hard to describe, but it creates a cool effect and I kind of want to somehow incorporate it.
3) This one starts with an equilateral triangle that has 3 more branching off of it by extending the lines used in the first triangle. Each of the triangles are of equal shape.
4) A slash effect that makes it look like the fabric of the media is torn open. It looks rather cool when drawn well.
5) A grid-drawn object. I have a bad example, but it's roughly what it would look like. I'll make a paint version of it and post it ASAP.
6) Some sort of eye. But like, cool looking. Self-explanatory.
That's all I really have so far. I've got work to do obviously, but I want your guy's opinions. If you have any other ideas for the concepts, just post back on here.

Ok!! First let me say that I'm sorry that I haven't been on in a VERY long time T~T I didn't know we had fully switched over and I've been just having a reclusive period from the internet for a small while >_< not to worry it's about time I kick back into gear
Small update, going to start working on the voice actors and going though each one with Modra (My Assistant) and Armed and make sure we have all the voices we need and/or want! so that means the Auditions are closed! ^o^
Um, as far as my work stuff, I'm behind...been dormant sorry...I have on and off periods or I just get buraniging (inside joke hehe XD) out >_< But we have YEARS to do this, we might as well take our time and do it right then rush and not at all. Don't worry we're still moving this boat along! ^o^ Also good news I've picked up 3 new writing books that are helping me further my writing skills ^w^ so that's a plus!!!
I feel sad we have to say good bye to monowix though T~T Just know that the door is always open for you ok buddy and that we'll all miss you! You were a awesome spriter and maybe you'll comeback for the summer!!!! ^o^ but that's up to you!

Hope all is well...
I should get back into full swing too now that I think of it, have really been putting my hobbies off cause of school. We have christmas holidays soon and cause its elections here its gonna be an extra 15 days ^0^!!! Man, I couldn't ask for more.

Can you send me all the currently in use sprites for the all characters so I can make some art work related to how they really look in the game, Also if you want I can make any character using some sprites and editing if you don't have each characters sprite yet ( like for the ones you don't yet have ), I'll follow the descriptions.
