I don't want people uploading projects with the passability set up already that include my tileset, as I don't want it hosted elsewhere. The only place I'd be happy would be on RPG Palace if you insist on doing it. Ask one of the more technical admins and they'll put it on RPG Palace for you.

I was only planning on uploading it here anyway. I've also made it clear, in places, that you're not allowed to post the tiles anywhere except here.

Email it to me and I'll se about including it. I've been thinking about putting a demo feature into the downloads system. I'll probably do that, and if I like your work I'll add yours as the first demo of all.

Of course, that way you don't get any credit in the system. The file itself can have a text file crediting you for setting passability, and the description can mention you, if you like.

Um... Can I just upload it here, now? Or not?

Upload it to savefile.com and PM me the file link. I'll get around to it ASAP.

......

it's a little obvious you guys are a little over protective of your resources...

i mean he said like 2-3 times he was only uploading it to here..

don't you guys think you should just let him..

also i think you should make it so you can upload your own resources but make it so they need to be approved by admins 1st.

well Chaos if you had spent the time and energy required to make a complete tileset as involved as the one Inquisitor put out (who could, incidentally, charge 10 bucks per download and make some decent money), you would be protective too. Heck, if I had made it y'all would be REQUIRED to sign a release form, agree to credit me with ANY usage whatsoever, and also pay me 10 bucks.

Inquisitor is a lot nicer than I think most people would be to let us use it free of charge.

overprotective? no

protective? yeah, so sue me...I can use the money =)

don't blink, you might miss the droids you're looking for...

Perhaps because we've had to get it taken off near enough every other RPG Maker website in the past?

And as I said, PM it to me and I'll upload it. It's not being protective- the user upload feature doesn't work at the minute..

"Inquisitor is a lot nicer" Yes, that amazed me...

And a demo? Why not? I say, that would greatly help people (including me Sticking Out Tongue). As long this respects the following rules, saying the demo must be hosted on this website, but also it must not be encrypted - what's the point, then?

But I think that's the makers' decision to host it or no, though.

@holloway : Oh, well, why don't you get it up? Would fill up some sections of the site!(That must be why the download section is more than empty...)

Personally I'd like to see a free-user upload set up pretty quickly (Based around Name > Maker > File Type > File name), but also a rating system so that people know which resources are best to look at.

In the mean time, just go with what Holloway suggests. Smile

@Aveyond: That's exactly why it's empty. We've had the whole site built from scratch.

Just to point out really bluntly: You could've set your own passabilities etc quite a few times by now trying to resolve this update issue.

Now not so bluntly: A User upload feature would be a nice addition if it works properly, as in it can recognize dimensions for each specific resource file and format and that it is monitored by an admin regularily. It's just a really vulnerable accessory to put on the website otherwise.

@Aletarious: Except we weren't too interested in having a passability set anyway? We were putting it up because a member had made it and wanted it up, not because we asked for one. And given that member still hasn't PMed me any details, it's not our fault it's not up.

Oh yeah I know. I was just messing around. Sorry, didn't leave much sign of sarcasm there. I'll try harder next time =)

*Rise from your grave....*

OK... so I'm working on Inquisitor tilesets for RMVX. Here is the first one done - TileE

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/6899/tileey.png

BUT I can't get RMVX to set the transparency. It won't even ask me what color I want for transparent and semi-transparent (clicking left button and right button).

Can anyone help me with this?

figured it out... had to make a selection in Gimp by Selecting a color and then floating that selection so it becomes a layer then adjusting the transparency of that layer. worked pretty good. now to make the other tilesets using the remainder of the tiles on Inquisitor's worldmap.

Hi, I came here looking for Inquisitor's tilesets. Where do I go to download them?

I am also here looking for those tilesets.  I can't seem to find them, or anything other than the forums here.  I assume this has something to do with the server move?

That would be correct. I'll be migrating the downloads over time; for now, you can access the legacy downloads system here.
