It's been a VERY long time since I last posted on RPG town. Well, I've decided to return after many months of hiding, heh. When I first joined the town (About 3 1/2 years ago), I spent many a happy hour posting, browsing, and getting to know members from all corners of the globe.
After 3 years of unfinished projects, and 3 years of clearly wasted time, I finished with RM2K a few months ago; herego Confidentus Fabuli was cancelled. A shame really, I was looking forward to completing it. But when you lose interest, there's no point in continuing as RM2K's all about having fun, eh?
My new interests include film, writing, and drawing. I can lend advice on the game development side of things, but I've quit making, so you won't see any further projects from me. Instead, I'll showcase my written and drawn works on the boards. If you need any advice in the area of script-writing, drawing, or general creative writing, then don't hesitate to ask, as I'm here to help.
I'll also participate enthusiastically in film debates and discussions, as well as start them. So, if you're into film, you're probably gonna enjoy having me back around again, heh.
Anyway, it's great to be back after so long, and I hope to continue the friendships I made with the members of old, as well as newer members that may not have heard of me.
"Hey boys, I'm baaaaaack!"
Ben, is it really you? It's been quite some time. Alas, many people here have thrown in the towel with Game Development, and there's good reason. The community as a whole just isn't enjoyable anymore. Instead of helping people, veterans have turned into obsessed elitists with a single goal to degrade others work with little or no constructive criticism. If you compare the RPG Maker community to say, the Sphere or Unreal community, you'd notice quite a difference in how things done, and just how intolerable this community has become. That's also the reason why I no longer work with RPG Maker seriously, however Jakey has converted me to UnrealEd, which still allows me to do what I enjoy: Creating maps.
Anyhow, I'm rambling. It's good to see you back Ben, I hope you do stick around to chat now and then.
Yes, I'm still here. Not as active though.
Welcome back, Ben.
Welcome back, fo' sho'.
Welcome back, friend!
Hey ho Ben. Welcome back.
Welcome back Ben.
I assume it is another oldbie?
Oooh, glad to see you've finally made your way back onto here! To be honest, I think a fair few of us (not all) haven't really much time for game development, as Magi suggested (I for one, although feel free to disagree), although that's not to say people such as myself have given up on development of anything full stop, which of course you'll inevitably find .
I look forward to some happy debating and criticism (almost a contradiction in terms, but one that would raise a smile).

WOULD THAT HAPPEN T' BE A MISTA GLANVILLE!?! WOULD IT THEN?!?!
Hehehe, I'm glad to see that my return has been so well-recieved . And yes, Kaiox, I am an oldbie, and as CSC states, "a very oldbie". I'm the third oldest oldbie on the town. First there's Kamau, then RickyK, then me . I'm 17 (18 on Janurary 9th, can't wait!), but in terms of membership length, that makes me the third oldest, doesn't it? Heh. It's great to see so many of the older members still active. Game development's COMPLETELY over for me, and the only RM game I'll be playing from now on will be The Way Episode 6, and any following episodes, if there will be any. I'm concentrating fully on my future career: film direction . That means studying, and writing, drawing, and concieving my ideas and planning them out in my spare time. I'm also a lot more out-going too. Nothing like a good ol' knees up with close friends. Heh, I LOVE cider, but I'm no alchoholic, no .
I thought you were the one that made the big thread a long time ago about the different mixed drinks you liked.
We all come back afterwards, don't we?
I think I remember you. Have you ever posted on the PRoboards Town? ever?
I love your sexy blue skin and neon hair, lips, and eyes

Yep. he did.
Welcome back, man. Good to know at least SOME people are coming back.
Heh, no, I didn't start the mixed drinks thread. I've only really discovered the wonders of alchoholic beverages in the past 6 months or so .
For Kaiox: yeah, I posted on both the ProBoards and the original Invision Boards RPG towns. I was also around during the EZboard days, and that was a loooooooooooooooong time ago.
I've often been complimented on the sexiness of my blue complexion . Heh, that's basically a picture of me after I've messed around with my webcam picture editing tools.
Hey, BMZ. It's been AGES since we last chatted, eh? It's a shame Zenith got flushed, I was really looking forward to it from what you'd told me. Ah well, if you ever come across it again, be sure to tell me .
hay mang
Great to see you back, Gentle Ben (zomg bear reference :mayb:) You should post parts of your scripts, they pwn.
hey Man. (yes capitalized man)
'tis Florida656.
too bad you cancelled CF. (good thing I never wrote any music for it. )
Heh, thanks Shiggy. I might post that segment that I sent you, then maybe the short scripts that I write. I'm gonna try and bring film onto the forums, since computer gaming and world politics appear to be the centres of attention on here .
I forgot you were gonna do the music for CF, Curt. Hehehehe, I really need to sort out this amnesia (Joke ). How've you been? We haven't chatted in a while. You in a band now?

Likewise . My tit of a brother accidentally kicked the tower off of the computer desk, and it smacked the modem chip out of place. I fixed it on Saturday, so I'm back on, heh, as you can see .
Anyway, good to see you're still here, Hitman. I remember you from the Proboard and Invision times.
Awesome to see you back.
