Tutorial for Character Maker V2:
When you open the program your menu will pop up. To start a new project click on the white piece of paper. A box will pop up indicating the length and width of the characterset. It's set at 128x192 so just leave it there and click accept. At that point a new window will pop up and it should say layers. If it doesn't pop up click on the icon that looks like a sandwich. It's three icons down from the white piece of paper. Once this is open type in your first layer. When your done with the name click the green/yellow plus sign next to it and your layer will be complete. With this program your going to have to move resources here and ther so my suggestion for the layer's name would be "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,etc." After you have your layers start from the bottom and click the arrow under the white piece of paper. This happens to be the resources already programmed for the game. I always start out with a skin. When your done with what you want click the green/yellow sign at the bottom and it will appear. Go to another layer and put whatever else you want. If it doesn't show correctly go back to the layers menu click on the layer that doesn't show right and click the up/down arrow buttons to change the level of the layer. To have custom made resources in your program go to click on personalized. Another menu will pop up that says browse your folder. Go to the folder that has your custom made resources and click ok. Your resources will pop up automatically. If they don't pop up the resources may be a wrong file type i.e. .png, .gif, .bmp, etc. My program can only use .gif files but some use .png files. I think I may have an older version but all the resources I make are .gif files. If you want to convert them use ReaConverter Pro. Be sure to have them on a different layer. When your finished with your character go to file and export it. It will save as a .png file and there you go. You have just made a character for Rpgmaker XP.
Also...I heard from Saphiro that V2 is able to create battlers. ?. Well that's what he says and he says that no resources will be given. You'll have to make them yourself.

pretty decent, could do with a few more graphics though.
