Legion Saga

Greetings one and all, and hello again to those I haven't spoken to in a long time. Sorry for keeping such a low profile for so long. I bring news of my current status.

The Bad News...

Unfortunately I have chosen today to announce that there will be no more work on the Legion Saga series. This includes Legion Saga R, Curse of Silence and the final updates/modifications to Legion Saga III. After months of having these projects sat on my computer and not actually working on them I decided to just accept that I no longer have an interest in using RPG Maker.

The Good News...

Since I won't be finishing these projects, I decided to just put them on the Legion Saga website in their unfinished glory. I work on games in a strict order based on how the game is played, so pretty much everything in the games is finished, but only about 50% of the overall project has been made. In other words the game is near enough finished until about half way through when it will suddenly cut off.

I'm rambling a bit here.

I hope you all enjoy what remains of these games, and I wish I had finished them when I was still enthusiastic. However, I have other projects that I'm working on (mainly using Half-Life 2's Source engine) which you can find out more about on my new(est) website, Figments and Pigments.

Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to these games. I hope this makes up for it.

The link to Legion Saga of course is:

Sucky. LS was the first complete RPGMaker game I played. Then I beta tested LS3... I... don't remember if I actually played the non-beta version. Is it even available anywhere?

It's good that you moved to ACTUAL work, instead of the kiddy shit you are limited to on RPGMaker.

I'm assuming you mean either Shikata Ga Nai or Babylon ATOM Unit. Both are available to download from Figments and Pigments... at least, as much as I've done of them which is not much.

Well this is certainly very disappointing. Much like everyone here, I got my start playing the Legion Saga series and while it did have a good run, it's a little disappointing to actually hear that nothing new will come from it ever again. Can't be helped I guess. Thanks for everything you've given and good luck in your future undertakings.
