The Leap from Maker to iPhone

Haven't posted in an RPG Maker forum in such a long time, wow nostalgia. I've been a long time dedicated RPG Maker user since the '95 days. Then published 3 games (I really should go dig them up, now where did I put them...). Life has taken me away from RPGM for a long, long time, but I never lost the RPG Making passion. So got together with some friends and decided to continue our RPG Making in our spare time, but this time for the mobile platform.

The road was long and hard, but we finally made it! We succeeded in publishing our first app just a short while ago. It's called Sagas: the RPG Boardgame and Name Generator. Our skillz are not up to making a full RPG yet but that's our final goal. Also the game isn't as good as we want it to be but it's a start!

Although I've started the mobile road, my roots are still from RPG Maker. So, as a way to give back to the community. We at Watermark RPG have decided to make our app free for a week! We'll call it the RPG Maker fan week! If you don't see it as free yet just wait another day till Apple updates your store appropriately before you download.

You can find the app here:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sagas-rpg-boardgame-name-generator/id4804...

So go download our not-so-spectacular but kinda playable app! It's for you (and it's kinda fun sometimes.).

I guess all I really want to say is, no matter how busy you are in life now, no matter what day job or what boy/girlfriend or what family life: if you really love rpg making, you should keep doing it. And remember to finish your project! It's possible. We did it, so can you.

Keep an eye out for our next game!
